Does AI recommend you, or someone else?
Enter your domain and up to three questions a customer might ask. We run them on ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google, record who gets cited, and check whether AI crawlers can read your site at all.
- Whether each engine cites your domain for each question
- Which competitors are named instead
- The sources each answer was built from
- Whether GPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot and Google-Extended are allowed by your robots.txt
- Whether you publish an llms.txt file

About the ai visibility checker.

How does the AI Visibility Checker work?
- It sends your questions to ChatGPT with web search, to Perplexity, and to Google with an AI Overview request, then reads each answer and its citations. If your domain appears in the citations you are cited; if your name appears in the text you are mentioned. It also fetches your robots.txt and llms.txt to confirm AI crawlers can read the site.
Why do results change between runs?
- AI answers are not deterministic. The same question can produce a different answer and a different set of sources a minute later. That is why we track a fixed prompt set weekly in client work, and why one run here is a snapshot, not a verdict.
What questions should I enter?
- The ones a buyer would ask before choosing a provider: "best commercial roofing company in Atlanta", "which CRM is best for a small law firm", "who should I hire for local SEO". Avoid brand searches; the point is to see who gets recommended when you are not named.
Is my data stored?
- No. The domain and questions are sent to the engines to produce the answer and are not kept. Rate limits apply per connection to keep the tool free.
Want the fixes done, not just found?
The full programme starts from the same checks and ends with your name in the answer.
